OOur Business Philosophy

The objective of our business is to provide document preparation/business writing services to our customers while specializing in the on-job-training service to our clients.  Too many organizations try to develop standard models to solve key business problems.  O.J.T.B. realizes that business problems have a variety of solutions; what may be right for one business would not necessarily meet the needs of another business.  We will offer one solution for one problem.  “How do I proceed?”  While other organizations in the area offer small and medium sized businesses consulting services, none specialize in our featured services and none are community-based. We hope you enjoy visiting our web site and using our services as much as we enjoy providing them for you.

 

Our Employees

Our staff plays an important role in this business. We all have the same passions and goals for this business, to help others succeed in starting a new beginning. With the combined skills, experience, and education of our staff, O.J.T.B. will grow into a formidable adversary against the word “unemployable” concerning our youth and seniors.

 

Paula (Ms.P) Collins is the principal employee and Director/CEO; the primary staff consists of the Executive Manager, an Administrative Assistant, HR Assessment Manager, Research/Data Entry Manager, Receptionist/File Clerk, the Maintenance and Grounds Manager, and countless client staff.

O.J.T.B. knows that human service organizations play a significant role by providing access to services, benefits, and opportunities promptly.  So we will provide for them – the small/medium-sized start-up non-profits – the opportunity to focus on organizational effectiveness, quantity, resilience, quality and commitment to excellence, and a chance to enhance the services provided to those attempting to break out of the grasp of poverty. 

 

Now, instead of having to pay an exorbitant amount of rent for only a little space, we seek to provide a start-up facility to work from, administrative and maintenance services, and the opportunity to collaborate or even form partnerships while seeking funding.  This program is called “The Non-Profit’s Non-Profit.”

 

What is the Price of Knowledge and Experience?  Not as much as you would think when it comes to hiring an experienced and knowledgeable worker!  “Over Qualified” is NOT a problem, but a BONUS at discounted, fair, and comparable prices!

Choose SENIORS FIRST TEMP AGENCY!!  Seniors First gives employers the best employees who have the experience and knowledge of the jobs they need to be done!  All of these workers have lived and worked lives full of experience.  No Training Needed!  (Except in specialized cases.)  Some are available for “temp-to-hire”, but mainly for temporary, part-time, contracted, and short-term project positions!

Finally, we now introduce OJTB Travel, a for-profit travel agency that offers fundraising cruises and travel for organizations seeking a fun and easy way to raise funds for your organization.  We have expanded to include a travel agency that specializes in fundraising cruises, bus trips, train and air travel for organizations needing to raise funds.

Our Company

O.J.T.B. (Only Just The Beginning), Inc. was started in September 2004 as a vision by its founder Ms. Paula Collins.  Ms. Collins’ plan was to find a way to get people job experience so they could possibly expand their options in the job market.  Education is essential and a mandatory step in getting a job, but even with your diploma or GED it’s very hard to get a job with no job experience, even an entry level job.  Thus, O.J.T.B. (Only Just The Beginning), Inc. was born.
